Isn’t waterfront supposed to be dark at night?
Waterfront used to be dark at night, but not anymore. With lighting, now you can use the waterfront living space instead of “retreating” back indoor at night.
Is it difficult to mount your light fixtures in my waterfront?
No it is not difficult. Our lighting systems are by design plug-in lights. They typically start from a converter that is plugged into a standard power outlet socket on your dock.
The wiring is a bit complicated because you need to run the wires under the dock deck, then up the pilings in conduits, then into the wood structures.
Our dealers and professional installation teams can provide installation services with warranty.
How expensive are your lighting systems?
A full vertical lighting setting from top (canopy) to the bottom (underwater) typically cost about 6% of your dock’s value; projects usually range from $700 to $6000 including installation.
We recommend smaller lighting systems to start with. You can always add more.
Best way is for our engineers to give you a site survey, then give you design ideas and quote. Site survey itself is free of charge.
There are standard yard lights available in the market, can I install them?
Yes you can. But we recommend low voltage (12 to 24 volt) DC lighting systems for waterfront. They are safe and more inexpensive to install.
In addition, 10 12V LED lights for example only costs about $5 electricity per month even left on from dusk to dawn every night. Standard yard lights cost at least 20 times more energy.
I already have solar battery lights on my dock, do I have to replace them?
We recommend to replace them at least partially. At night you can see the battery lights themselves but nothing around them in the perimeter. Dock deck and water can be really dark at night, it is not safe to walk on deck without being able to see the edge and environment clearly.
Could you summarize why should I buy your lighting systems?
Lighting systems are add-on investment to your privileged waterfront property. If you would like to choose low voltage systems, we are the best in this niche market in America. Give us a call to find out.
What is your warranty?
Typically we provide one year factory warranty for the fixtures as standard electronics. For installation the warranty typically is also one year with standard terms.
Our products have been rolling out and serving consumers for 9 years. We actually never saw the low voltage LED fixtures malfunction.
